What would be a similiar wine to top offViognier? Something that is not exspensive... My local wine store does not have a real big selection of Viognier..

Viognier to me is a wine thats between Chard and Pinot Gris. So I
would say a non oak Chard or a Pinot Gris. If they do have a
Viognier at all I would use what every they have. I have had alot
of Viognier from Washington and Cal and all have been pretty good.
(Washington makes the better one)

Depends on your tastes - there are some good napa viogniers - also look at Michael Davids 'Incognito' world class Viognier. Does your shop carry any spanish varietals? Also, look into an Albarino excellent wine comparable to a viognier
