Vine purchasing help

Hello everyone.

I have been making wine for about 3 years. Mostly juice, kits & some off the wall fruit batches.

But!, I am, this spring planting vines. I have 35 acres & an orchard already. I am (kinda) a farmer. Have a 30x100 high tunnel greenhouse - all tomatoes & grow a large garden. So, I'm not a rookie with simple gardening. Grape vines are another story.

I'm just hoping for some advice on which vines / websites to avoid in buying.

At this point I plan on growing some Merlot, Cab Sav, Shiraz, & maybe one or two varieties of white. - I know nothing about white wine.

Any links, advice or helpful hints would be greatly appreciated!.

Brian check with the local vineyards to see what they grow. I'm not sure if vinifera varieties like you want are a good choice for there or not. Also there may be a few growers on here that are familiar with your area. I am not.
