RJ Spagnols using white grape cont. to back sweeten?

I have a Vino del Vita world tour Australian Chardonnay and I would like to sweeten it just slightly I was wondering it white grape cont. would be a good idea to do this or should I just use simple syrup.

what i would do is take some of the wine and add sugar to that

If you just want to sweeten it, simple syrup is probably best solution.

However, some time ago I had a VR Chardonnay (low budget kit) that seemed to need some more flavor, so I just added a can of Welchs white grape concentrate -- seemed to be much improved, at least to those who consumed it(!)
