WineXpert Tweaking White Zin with Strawberries

I am looking at tweaking my WE White Zin kit by adding 6-8# of strawberries during primary fermentation. I was going to chop and place in nylon bag, add to the primary fermenter and squeeze daily. Plus, following the directions other than this.

Good idea or don't even try it?????

Not sure how much of a strawberry flavor will come out with that amount. Why not freeze the strawberries and use as a f-pack at the end. I think you will get more of a strawberry flavor coming though that way.
