Transfer station

I just came back from the transfer station (Dump) with this load of
bottles. Havent counted them yet but there has to be 100 of them. Guess
I have to start washing them now before the wife comes home and sees
them all in her kitchen.

Yes, I wish I was there too. Anyone ever try BlackStone brand wie?
there was a lot of it. I have 45 bottles on my tree, 15 bottles on my
counter and still 56 bottles uncleansed and my hands are cleaner than a
doctors right now. Scalpal please!

It is our local dump. Everything gets carted away and that is why its called a transfer station.

Congratulations for finding an outlet for bottles Wade

I know for me, having to buy bottles is the most expensive part of wine making, it's worth the effort when you can get them for free.


Are the labels coming off easily with a little soaking? I hate stuborn labels, but have learned, if I can get most of the label off, I can leave then in soapy water for a week and the glue will come right off with a little scraping with the back of a knife, then I use a green scrubby pad to remove the rest. Comes right off.

I dont remove the labels as of yet nor have I put 1 label on yet that I have designed. I will soon start though.

My wife loves Blackstone Merlot. We have never had the Zin.

Well I got another 47 today and told the guy that should hold me over
for awhile. Thats hard to do for me when theyre free but I'm running
out of room.
