I started a 1 gallon Welch's grape juice recipe [got from this site].. So far, it seems to be doing real well except it has a strong taste alcohol taste..
My question? if I add less sugar I will have less alcohol, right?? (on next batch I mean)

Yep. Do you have any idea what your starting specific gravity was?

sg is usually quoted as 3 decimal places. I'm going to guess that you mean 1.090 and .999 (or maybe .990).

That yields 1.090 - .999 x 133 = 12.1% or 1.090 -.990 x 133 = 13.3%.

The 12% is consistent with many grape wines. The 13% is a little high for a lighter wine.
