I am honored that you chose my recipe for your first wine. I'm also glad it all turned out perfectly. Like I always say, give it a little time in the bottle, and you will be further impressed.

I made the first experimental batch of DB in September 2011 while working on variations to Lon's Original Skeeter Pee recipe (thanks Lon!). I loved the color, and after tasting it, my first thought was, I have to tell people about this one! It took some convincing at first, especially since the recipe only uses 6 pounds of fruit, but once people tried it, they were instant converts. Now there are numerous variations all over the place. I am both humbled and proud of everyone's efforts.
