There is a 6 gallon all juice Bolero pino grigio on the floor of the wine shop down the street. It has been there for 6maybe 9 at the most-months. I can get it for $45 as is but i cant see a date on the kit.
Any advice or info?? Should i just forget it???

I let a wine kit sit on a shelf in my basement for a year before I had time to start it. I've not tasted it yet, but everything went fine during fermentation. It's bulk aging now.

Not the best way to store a kit.....cool storage would be better....But that is a pretty good price, I would go for it....Good luck

Ask them for the date on it. If they can't provide it bargin with them lower.

Do as Smurf says and do a yeast starter and have an extra yeast packet on hand just in case.
