I've always enjoyed the quotes that many of you have at the bottom of your posts ("Adopt the pace of nature..."). I received a book for Christmas, "Wine Accross America", a photographic road trip by Charles O'Rear. I ran accross this poem that I thought was particularly good.
Back of this Wine is
the Vintner
And back through the years
his skill
And back of it all are the Vines
in the sun and the Rain
And the Master's will.

M. Barone, 1857

I hope everyone had as good a Christmas as we did. Weare blessed with lots of family.

Lucy and I love to look at the Winter Wondeland pictures. Beautiful but I like here in South Alabama. It went down to 19 degrees F last night and the whole town was freaking out.

I have MM Meglioli Cab del Veneto and MM Shiraz (frozen juice) bulk aging, a MM Port clarifying, and a WE Chenin Blanc on deck to bottle. Looking forward to the LE kits.

Happy New Year!

James
