Looking for some help from my friends on Seneca Lake

Howdy,

This past June I went to the Clayton Food & Wine Festival. There I met these folks who had a fairly new winery (4 years old) called the Ovid Wine Company. They made some absolutely fabulous wines plus they were successfully growing syrah grapes in the region. I bought a bottle of their meritage and we all enjoyed it.

Fast forward to today. I found out I will be in the Ovid area next weekend and I wanted to visit them. Funny thing, I cannot find any information at all about them in Google. I recycled the empty bottle long ago. Does anyone in the area have any information about this winery or some info to help me?

Hi Joe

I found a list of exhibitors who showed at that festival this year. Ovid is not on the list, but you may have gotten the name wrong. There is an Otter Creek Winery. Read down this list and see if it jogs your memory.

It was the Hector Wine Company. I must of had a wine coma or something.
