k-meta gone bad?

Does powdered K-meta go bad? I bought a jar from a local store and mixed up a batch last night.This batch seemed to have a slight yellowish color to it and it did not have the usual strong smell just a slight sulfer smell. Does that mean this jar is old?...should i toss it and by a new jar?

I would say it is no good and toss it. If it has color and lack of strong smell then don't use it.

Thanks Masta had it on my mind, wanted to check with the more experienced wine makers before I went to sleep(im a third shifter)
