For my taste, the IM kits are extremely sweet. I usually bump up the ABV by adding sugar or grape concentrate in the primary, along with 1/2 to 2/3 of the f-pack.

I think you’ll find the finished wine will meet your friends and families pallet. Is their an F-pack? If so, it will be sweet. Make sure you use the sorbate before adding the F-pack as per written instructions.
