I looked into them last year but decided to stay with what I had. To much to clean, break, and fiddle with on them for me. I only make wine though.
 
It is tough to beat a plain old bucket.
They do have a cool factor in the looks department.
 
Thanks guys and I figured as much.....if the price wasn't so high I would give it a try!
 
I have one and really like it. I use it as a secondary fermenter because you can remove lees easily and taste etc by removing the bottom attachment. Sometimes I bottle from it also - very simple. But usually I rack to a carboy to make sure fermentation and degassing are complete.
