Help!
I'm gonna start a batch of Strawberry wine this weekend using the recipe on the FVW website. As written, it will make one gallon. If I want to make two gallons do I simply double everything in the recipe? (including Campden tablets?) Also, is there any problem with starting it off ina 6.5 gal. primary and then transferring to a 2 gal carboy or will the 6.5 provide too much oxygen exposure? Up to this point I've only done wine kits and have never done a fruit wine from scratch.
Thanks,
Q

Hi Globb, welcome to the site. Yes, you can double everything in the recipe although you don't have to double the yeast. And it's ok to startyour batchin a 6.5 primary because the resulting CO2 will protect the wine during primary. Just watch your SG and rack to secondary when appropriate.
