I had a costco chardonnay kit sitting around from last year when i bought a double kit on sale for a super deal so i decided to make it today.......
and remembered I still had 15 jars of Jam left from other wine projects
Sooooooooooo
I split the chard kit into 2 primary's, added 8 jars of strawberry jam to one, taking it back to 1.09
and added the remaining mix of strawberry, raspberry and red currant jams to the second batch, also back to 1.09.
I had previously made batches from Blackcurrant, redcurrant, blackberry jams with very good results, so im optimistic that using 1/2 a kit and 1/2 jam will produce equally good results.
