I have a MM white Zin that is in the clarifiying stage. It has been eleven days and it looks very clear about a third of the way down the carboy but looks a little cloudy in the bottom two thirds. It has been this way for most of the eleven days and doesn't seem to be moving down. Any suggestions? Thanks, Ron.

I degassed with aspirator pump and wasn't bringing up any bubbles even at 22 inches of vacuum so I think it was completely degassed.

I have a vinbrite filter system, would it take out a little cloudiness or would it be better to get some super clear and redo it, or just let it sit longer and hope for the best.

Sometimes the fining agents take much longer then spec'ed so just hang in there, if its gone that far itll finish.

I heard a quote on this forum a while back.....

JUST COVER IT UP AND WALK AWAY!!!

It just needs a little more time in my opinion.

Sounds like it should be degassed so this is the next thing to do.

Like above,

Patience

Patience

Patience.
You can't rush wine. Cover it up and "forget about it" It's kinda like watching paint dry. It takes its own time.
