ok im making an apple cider wine....instead of grabbing the acid blend i grabbed the citric acid......please tell me i didnt ruin it

i put in 4 tsp in a 5 gal batch.....im not sure what citric acid and acid blend do so i dunno what the effects will be

also should i still put some blend in?? to make up for the tartaric acid and malic acid????

Chill out, let it ride for the moment, and wait for better advice... LOL

Citric acid is one of the 3 acids in an acid blend, I would not add any more to it. Hard to tell what might happen, I use citric acid in wine that needs a little more tart.

am i the only one to make this mistake??? i feel like a boob lol
