I crushed 400 lbs of grapes.

I've tried a bunch of formulas giving me a range of 37 to 50 gallon of must and 22.8 to 30 gallons of wine.

What formula do you use? How much must and juice do I have....want a ballpark for calculations

Depends on the grape but for the average vinifera grape I use the formula: 100lbs on the stem will yield about 6 gals of wine which means you should expect 22 to 24 gals of wine from 400lbs or about 120 bottles.

Ok. So juice is 60% of must so I have around 37 gallons of must. Needed it for some calculations that use must

Why not calculate your volume based on actual measurements?

Use the formula for the volume of a cylinder to calculate your ACTUAL volume.....

I use a percentage that has seem to work well for me.......
Fresh grapes turn 10% into must
Fresh grapes turn 6% to 7% into wine
Ex: 100lbs of grapes will produce 10 gallons of must and 6 gallons of wine
