Is it possible to buy grapes straight from california and have them shipped to Canada?

Sure, just add money and stir!

It would seem that you need a very large order to attract the interest of a winery or wholesaler in California and to cover the shipping cost. If that is the case, I see no reason why you could not, notwithstanding any import laws.

Im looking to buy 100 cases. You think thats enough?

Which Winery do you recommend? I dont know where to start looking.

Obviously, I want the best grapes

I bet M and M in Hartford, CT would entertain that order. Depending on where you are in Canada that is.

Do they have some of the best quality grapes?

For home winemakers, absolutely. Wineries probably won't sell their best grapes seeing as they make a big return on their wine. I would start with M and M. They have excellent grapes and their prices are unbeatable.

And by the way I'm a customer, I have no financial ties to them!
