Does anyone know what the out-of-the-box starting S.G. and final ABV for these kits is supposed to be? Is it pretty common to bump the starting S.G. a tad like I do for the W.E. mist kits?

I'm doing an RJS, Orchard Breezin Strawberry Zin right now. Before I added simple syrup to bump the SG to 1.080 it was 1.050. The instructions said it would be between 1.050 and 1.060

I have 2 Banana Pineapple kits sitting there waiting to be started. I usually bump up the starting sg and add part of the f-pack in the beginning - I find them abit too sweet for me. I haven't tried the Breeze BP yet so if you do bump up the starting sg keep us posted. I would be interested in how you rate yours as it progresses.
