After bottling we laid the bottles on their side. Is correct or not. ? Thanks, Will

Whoops no we didn't wait. Just put them on there side. Is there anything we should be aware of now?

If you are using natural corks leave upright a week to allow the corks to fully seat. Then lay on their side and watch to see if any leak.

If you use synthetic corks there is no need to lay on their side. I use all synthetic corks and all of my wine bottles stand upright. They stack easier and I can put more per shelf.

Real corks need to be on their side to prevent the cork from drying out.
