I started 15 lbs of blueberries in about 6 gallons of water and used Avante yeast. This is the third time using Avante and I am impressed with how clean the fermentation has been, no off odors at all. I cold soaked the blueberries for 2 days and then rehydrated and pitched the yeast, it took almost 2 days to get going. I do use Dap or Fermaid with Avante to make sure it is fed properly. This batch will be about 11% abv and backsweetened when done and probably start drinking at Thanksgiving
