What is the Best Malolactic Bacteria for Chardonnay?

Currently fermenting some juice buckets from Regina. Got 2 Chardonnay's,
one is being fermented with D47, the other with BM4x4 with oak chips. The one with bm4x4 I want to run through malolactic fermentation.

Which bacteria should I go with?

I would read scott labs manual abd look at their mlf section until you find a strain that fits the flavor profile you are after and also the ph and abv and.so2 levels of your wine.

It depends if you want alot of butter on the Chard. If you do, then pick an MLB that produces more diacetyl, and stop the MLF as soon as the chromatography test shows that there is no malic, so that the MLB doesn't start converting the diacetyl. If not, then choose one that doesn't.
