So, I've got this apple juice recipe and it calls for a teaspoon of "anti-oxidant." It also calls for a Camden Tablet. Aren't they the same? Are they wanting me to add a teaspoon of Kmet as well?

K-meta and campden are the same. They are most likely referring to ascorbic acid to prevent the fruit from browning, Lots of us use this for fruits that will brown and change the true color of your wine.

Hi Wade! Well the recipe calls for 1 an 1/2 tsp Acid Blend as well. What do you think?

Thats actually a little lower on acid blend then most apple recipes for a gallon, most call for 2 or a tad more.

Ascorbic Acid is classified as an "anti-oxidant". Just like wade said, it is added to prevent browning.

I would agree with wade that they are referring to ascorbic acid.
