I collected my crystals, rinsed them and put them in a little glass bottle, very cool looking, but then perfect is not something I have ever cared about. WVMJ
 
When you are doing your trials to backsweeten, do not forget to chill your sample as you trial (if you plan on serving chilled). Taste will vary at room temp versus chilled.
Also if you add 1/4 tsp sugar to 4oz wine and like that, you will need to add 1.5 cups sugar to 5 gallons to mimic that amount. That seems to be a happy mark for many.

All this strawberry talk made me realize I only have 1 bottle of SB left so started a new batch today. :db
 
Got myself three flats of beautiful Plant City, FL strawberries for $14.00 a piece today. Up here in my area of PA, that is a heck of a deal. And a good excuse to try my hand at some Strawberry Wine :)
