I am getting ready to start my Wine Expert White Zin. From all of the scanning I have been doing, I thought I might like to step out of the box a little and add some strawberry flavor to the wine.
Now, is where I need the help. How many strawberries do I add? I assume it is in the pound or pounds range? How do I prepare the strawberries? From what I understand this will be added to the primary fermentation. Will I need to add anything else to make sure the other chemicals in the kit still work? Am I mainly monitoring the SG? Will I be on my own or do I still follow the enclosed directions?
Or, by asking soooo many newb questions am I out of my league? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
