Adding previous wine to new batch

Is it okay to add wine from my previous batch instead of water for the initial mixing of the kit or should I wait and add it whentopping up the carboy? The 'old' batch is CabSauv and is a little soft but I'm afraid it might affect the balance of chemicals and yeast process in the primary fermentation.
 
Please only add wine to top up a carboy of a completely fermented wine. An addition of wine instead of water to rehydrate a wine kit will only cause problems and completely throw off the balance of everything in the batch.


Water Only!!!
