I'm just getting towards the end of a book that I've found fascinating so far. It is "Wine: The 8,000 Year Old Story of the Wine Trade" by Thomas Pellechia. It is about trade and commerce related to wine more than actual winemaking but it has some excellent information and insight to the history of wine. I got mine for $8 shipped from Amazon. I highly recommend it, I haven't been able to put it down in a few days now!

I'm actually reading that very book! I saw it in the library and thought, 'Heck, why not?'

I'm only into the third chapter or so, and have to take breaks for work and school, but it is a very interesting read. I highly recommend it to wine and history lovers.
