I will be picking up 3 juice buckets on Saturday. The order form says they will be, "23L-6.0/6.5 gallon pails." This will be my first time dealing with juice buckets. Will I be able to do primary fermentation in the containers the juice comes in? I currently only have one 6.5 gal primary. Do I need to pick up a few more by Sat?

Yes you should be able to ferment in the buckets they come in. I have been buying them for the last few years and have had no issues.

It may depend on how full the buckets are and the temperature at which you ferment the wine. I have purchased juice buckets with the juice about 2" from the top and some 1" from the top. If you ferment at a lower tenperature, a fuller bucket may be okay. At a higher temperature, you could have an overflow problem.
