Hi I've started making cider a 40pint fruit cider from wilkinsons. Fermented well it's been about 5 weeks now and bubbling only twice a day should I bottle or just leave it. Sent from my iPhone using Wine Making

I stayed on the 3rd of October chardonnay wine kit from wilkinsons. Taste good and smells goods but the reading is stuck on 1.012. There are no air bubbles so it's definitely finished fermenting.

Can't seem to get my wine above 18 even with the heating on. Does it matter?

My hydrometer stays to the side of the plastic tube when I try a take a reading for my wine. I cleaned and thoroughly dried it but still sticks to the side. Do I need to buy a new hydrometer.
