    I don't know if you should "dump" back into carboy. I know it would be tough but maybe rack back into carboy. Or at least pour very gentle, kind of like pouring beer from a tap. just my 2 cents Pete

    Hi Stolen, Trumbull native here. Soap and water is NOT going to cut it. Have others done it and got away with it......Maybe. Don't chance it! You need to clean(soap water) THEN sanitize the Bucket and the Carboy even racking cane and anything that is going to touch your wine before transfering...

    Wade so can you tell me if it's worth while to build a counterflow chiller or a simpler submersion one. Is the counterflow chiller, chill that much faster? Or efficinetly?
