I want to try a batch of (semi-sweet) raisin wine partly just to try it and partly because I read somewhere that it has a bit of a sherry flavor to it.

I am looking for yeast recommendations. I have on hand some Lalvin yeasts: 71B-1122, D-47, and RC-212. Any experience with these in raisin wine?

I could also go out and pick up something else. What has worked well for people?

I would use 71B-1122. It will give more fruit forward.
