after lots of research i found out that bananas when cooked down to a ugly pile of yuc is about the best yeast nutrient going.
not just sliced, but cooked down to syrup..peels and all. bananas are very high in nitrogen, which the yeast loves.
i am sure others may dis agree...but i am doing a 6 gallon batch of mustang grape...i added no yeast nutrient, but added 1/2 cup of cooked bananas, its fermenting like crazy, on day 4.
just saying.
