No, I use Helix Rade because it is so easy to use and because I am very familiar with it. I have Filemaker, and I did a couple of simple databases with it but I found it difficult to use even though I bought and read two textbooks on its use.

I am anxiously awaiting the rewrite of Helix for OSX since as of this date I can only run it on a Mac with OS9.

I think I found a solution in the meantime.

Hmmm.... timely topic. I just finished a writing a new online winemakers log application. It is totally free to use. You can check it out at: http://www.vintnerresources.com

It has a lot of features but I tried to keep it easy to use. Let me know what you think. If there are features you want added just let me know and I will see what I can do to make it happen.

Thanks, Carl.

i use a little tech ,but mostly rely on my experience and pit falls to guide my to the next stage, except for my blending as a cellar dwellar,i don't have to much need, for tech,a craft thats hunderds of years in the making, the basics always apply, but i'am old and have old ways, but make a good product consistently, not saying you shouldn't keep some notes but at my level not much more, taste and passion take charge and i'am surrounded by my toys,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
