When to rack to secondary

Hi I'm making a Winexpert Eclipse Pinot Gris.It started s.g. at 1.090 and temp at 72 deg.After day 6
s.g. is 1.000 and temp at 74.Inst say step 2 is at day 14 but not noting the s.g.Do I rack this now or wait to day 14

I would not wait the 14 days. Go by your hydrometer, not by their instructions.

I just checked my notes. I made this very same kit, and I racked from primary to secondary fermentation vessel in, you guessed it, 6 days! Wine turned out very nice.

Thanks for the quick response. I'm sorry to be a pain, but I have one more question about this kit.Again the
instructions don't tell you to top-off after racking. I always top up Carboy with a similar wine.What do you think.
