I haven't made this particular kit but I have made a number of others in the same range, including the Barolo, Chianti, Vieux Chateau du Roi.
they are all pretty good for a mid priced wine kit, but they do need six months (not three) in the bottle before drinking. I like mine heavy oaked so I tend to want to add to the oak. George has oak chips in the store if you need them. Add them after fermentation is done but before stabilizing. You can add them after stabilizing if you plan to rack a couple of times also.
