Here is a throwback Thursday photograph from one of my favorite WA State wines, Quilceda Creek. Always on the list of Top 100 wines for Wine Spectator most years. Been "collecting" for 5 years now. Almost time to start drinking!

Winemaker Paul Golitzin (center-left) back in the early days with dad Alex Golitzin (far-right), Quilceda Creek's founder, and renowned Napa winemakers Uncle André Tchelistcheff (center-right) and cousin Dimitri (far left).

Andre is looking at Dimitri and saying: are you old enough to drink that? :)

Though back then, the legal age was likely 18.
