I am thinking about using a commercial juicing machine to extract
juice from scuppernong grapes (26 lbs.). My intention is to make several gallons
of wine. This is my first time to make a “country” wine from fresh fruit. Is it
a good idea to use the juicing machine for extracting juice? I will appreciate some
of your ideas/thoughts.</font>
 
I would not do that as it will pulverize the seeds also making your wine very astringent. I suggest just freezing them for 2 weeks and then just put them in fermenting bag and break them open before adding the pectic enzyme.
 
yep, electric juicers take all the bitterness from the seeds and put it in your wine. I would not use one of those juicers.

I second that !
Either get a steam juicer or let the Pectic Exzyme do its thing..
