USA Number 1 (at long last)

Well as of today the USA is actaully beating China in the Olympic medal count.

I have to admit that China has been impressive. Just a show of things to come. In a few short years, China will become (if not already) the dominant superpower on earth.

Like I have said before, we need to get on the ball if we want a secure future.

Yup, The Chineese do not seem to be well represented in Track.

USA now has more gold, more silver, and more bronze than China!

USA: 39 gold, 25 silver, 36 bronze
China: 37 gold, 24 silver, 19 bronze

A total of 10 more medals!

I don't know how many athletes the USA has in this Olympics, but I believe the Chinese took over more than 400. Just assuming, but I'd think we have about half that number. Anyone know the correct number for the USA?

The USA a total of 530, 269 women and 261 men.
China sent 396, 225 women and 171 men.

I'm not into sports all that much but for some reason be have been watching the Olympics nonstop, even had to get the app. What amazing athletes they are.
