If yeast beomes stressed, what negative effects does it have on the wine? I'm getting an off smell from the wine, its not rotten egg nor finger nail polish remover.

Is there correct action that can be taken or is it something that will go away?

Tell us more about your wine how long has it been since you made it what was the recipe is it in the primary or did you rack it into a carboy already

I believe the stressed yeast was due to adding campden tablets after primary fermentation had already started. I took an SO2 reading which was very low and added another 2 camden tablets. (I now know that wasn't smart)

I racked from the primary to the carboy a couple of days ago. I am letting it finish its fermentation out now in the carboy. Thats when I noticed the smell.

Recipe
Origninal recipe
22lbs strawberries
pectic enzyme 3/4 tsp
yeast nutrient per recommended level per 3 gallon batch
camden tablets 3
7 lbs honey
tannin 3/8 tsp
2.65 gallons of water
