Just to tell you that yesterday i went to my LHBS and got a Pinot bianco (needed a white wine for my cellar

)

so i took this one following the description :

The Italian Pinot Blanc is medium-bodied with a light
fruitiness and crisp acidity. Judicious use of oak adds a totally new
dimension to this old world favourite. A refreshing and playful wine that
dances on the palate

i was looking for a dry crisp acid white.

i have plenty of rosé and off dry wine so this one should cut in the right place!

Will keep you informed!

It came with 60G of oak chip and i added a bag of 250G of white dried
raisin (south african wine raisin) should give some more body and punch!

this one will be great! this morning it was already bublling slightly.

this is a picture of my soup

No it's a picture of the fermentation beginning with the addition of my white raisins (and some oak floating with the raisins)

this smell wonderfull already!

Ok a little update....

this wine is no more.

well i only have one bottle left.
In my opinion it was the best wine i have drink so far from a kit.

it was crisp acid refreshing and a great body. (i htink the raisin did something big on the mouthfeel/body)

I will for sure remake this kit.
the oaking was great! next time i will try some stavin oak to make this even much better!

all my friend that received some bottle of it just fell in love with this kit.
try that with sechuan food Boom right in the bullseye!

need to start this kit asap again.

Just curious when you where able to buy the bag of 250G of white dried raisin (south African wine raisin)?

The more I do the kits and or juice with the added grape skins or raisins the more I am convinced almost every batch could benefit from some.

Wow, no aging for that batch huh! In the primary that just looked wonderful David and like Masta asked, where did you get those white raisins?

my white raisin were available at my lhbs 2.50$ for a big bad
