Woke up to a tiny brush fire above our house (about 2 miles, we're safely out of danger area) and by afternoon it was about 1700 acres. Tough on the eyes and lungs and they did lose a few houses, 5 so far, but the firefighters did an outstanding job and saved many homes. Looks to be in pretty good shape as far as containment, we'll see how it does overnight. We did lose the historic "Singer house" though.
