Soooooo...I apparently left a tad of water/kmeta in the bottom of my primary bucket with my bottle brush in the bucket. This caused the wire in the brush to rust and has stained the bottom of my bucket. Is it viable to clean it enough, or did I just give myself an excuse to purchase a new primary?

Thanks in advance!

Just let it soak in something like Oxyclean. Don't scrub it to hard, which will create scratches that can hide bacteria.

A little stain won't make that much difference, no longer than a wine ever stays in a fermentor bucket. make sure you always sanitize the bucket well.

I think you should go out and get a new one and clean up the old. Now you have a reason to pick up another carboy and make some more wine. :)
