Started this Kit Jan 17, 2018 came out of the Fermonster Mar 11.
April 14th I tasted and found it lacking, added 62 grams Med Toast French Oak and put it away, 3 month later here we are.
Oak is now nicely noticeable but not over powering although young it is very good now, the berry / cherry is still a bit pronounced with spice/ leather undertones. This should be excellent after 18 months or so.
I have put it away for another 3 months, I will either bottle it in October or maybe January depending on carboy space.
Has anyone else sampled theirs?
