have started about 30 gal of pumpkin wine. first time for pumpkin have had nothing but problems. first it turned to a gel before adding yeast, any thoughts? started in 2 6gal ferm and 2 10 gal crocks. finally got 2 smaller ones to thin out by stirring repeatedly added more yeast L118 and 1 is @ about 1.025 SG the other @ about 1.033 SG the lower has already started to settle very nicely but both have seemed to quit working. the 2 10 gal crocks i finally broke down into 4 5gal ferm and added more yeast and stirred very vigorously finally got them to start down to about 1.040 SG and those have seemed to quit working again. please any thoughts
