Hi I want to ferment a 6 gallon kit and I have a 12 gallon bucket, is this too much space in risk of oxidation or will this be ok?

Fine for primary fermentation. That's what I use all the time.

like cpfan said this is fine for primary fermentation, you need something like this to compensate for the active fermentation, you won't need to worry about spill overs.

Awesome! Now I can use it for my 6 gallon kit and make 10 gallon batches of skeeter pee! :)

LOL, I would say 8 gallons of skeeter pee, 10 gallons would be high and a good chance of spilling over.
