oxyclean

Has anyone used oxyclean to clean their equipment? If so, how much do you use?

I think I saw someone say the put a scoop in the carboy, then fill it with water and let it sit over night. Does that work?

I use it to clean all the time. I then sanitize with either Star San or K-Meta. It works great. It gets really stubborn stuff loose. I once burnt malt extract in the bottom of a flask while making a yeast starter for beer. Figured the flask was ruined cause I couldn't make a dent with a scrub brush. Dumped in some Oxy and let set overnight. Was crystal clean the next day. Try to find the Oxy Free though that has no scent. It is hard to find around here but I did find it as well as Sun brand at Wal Mart (where I never go) the other day. I stocked up on it. I am still not convinced that Easy Clean isn't Oxy Clean.
