Our grapes are on the small size and when they go through the crusher rollers a large percentage of them are not broken open. When we press we have to put a lot of pressure to break them and get the juice this can press more tannins etc from the stems than we want. i have adjusted the drive gears to where they are bottoming out on each tooth. I was thinking of taking a file and holding it on the gear as the machine was running and trying to adjust the diameter that way, to bring the crusher rollers closer. I would be very careful to stay out of the moving gears.
