well, i haven't oaked my muscadine but i think that is a good idea. I believe ffemt oaked a noble he had and it came out really good.
 
Julie is correct, I Oaked some Noble Muscadine. I went with 3 ounces of medium French toast for 8 weeks. I think it turned out well. Try a gallon if you have some to spare and see how you like it. I think it added to the flavor.
