Schuster, I assume you are doing this on a sewing machine. Could you describe the process? Do you start the "pocket" then fill it, then complete the sewing? Neat idea.

It is cool. My wife used a sewing machine. Sewing the two filters together up to 80% completed then filled both pouches with chips and dust. After that she sewed them shut. Total time under 10 min. It's a clean way to oak during fermentation. I may clean the bags after and freeze them for my next project. Ds1
